  • Overview

    The outpatient mental health clinic serves clients, ages 0-21, and their families by providing individual, family and group therapy and case management services.  Staff work as part of a Multidisciplinary team to help clients reach their treatment goals and provide services both in the clinic and in the community. 


    The primary responsibility of the Intake Coordinator is to assess referrals of children to the Outpatient Mental Health Clinics. The ideal candidate will have a high level of organizational and analytical skills, be able to prioritize projects, have strong computer skills, good communication skills, and be a positive team player.


    • Provide information about the program and screen children for eligibility
    • Offer referrals to other agencies and programs if Seneca’s program is not appropriate for the child
    • Manage intake process with clients, families, and community partners
    • Organize and track intake data on Seneca and County databases within required timelines
    • Coordinate directly with Seneca staff to assign cases and initiate services within required timelines
    • Run periodic and special reports as directed by supervisor
    • Attend community events to generate referrals for programs


    • Bilingual English/Spanish abilities required
    • At least one year experience in an office setting
    • Excellent phone and people skills
    • BA/BS degree required
    • Strong organization and communication skills
    • Detail oriented, organized and ability to multi-task
    • Word and Excel literate
    • Clearance of TB test, physical exam, fingerprints and any other mandatory State/Federal requirements.
    • Computer literacy with both PC and Macintosh computers.
    • Bilingual preferred


    Position Available 7/1 

    • 32 hours per week
