The Family Support Counselor in the Santa Clara County Support and Enhancement Service (SES) program provides family-based case-management, mental health counseling and crisis intervention to children and families involved in juvenile probation. Family Support Counselors are members of a treatment team, and provide services at the program site, in the community, including but not limited to: juvenile hall, schools, family homes, and county offices.
Seneca's Wraparound programs offer family-centered, individualized, culturally relevant, and strength-based support to families with complex and enduring needs. Wraparound works in close partnership with Department of Family and Children Services, Juvenile Probation, Behavioral Health, and group homes, providing strengths-based and outcome-oriented alternatives to group care placements for children and youth by drawing upon community and family strengths. Treatment and support services are tailored to address behaviors and meet family needs, even as they change over time.
Seneca is committed to hiring and maintaining a culturally, ethnically and linguistically diverse workforce that is reflective of the local client/student community.
