    Seneca is seeking part-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists on a contractual basis. The Psychiatrist provides evaluation, medication dispensing and monitoring, and consultation with the treatment team. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist assures that quality services are provided to clients and their families.

    Responsibilities


    • Complete initial and ongoing evaluations of clients to determine medication and treatment needs
    • Prescribe and monitor medications
    • Provide consultation and education to treatment staff regarding medication use as part of the treatment regimen
    • Maintain timely and accurate paperwork, including Medi-Cal documentation
    • Additional responsibilities as by the Program Director, Assistant Program Director and/or Agency Medical Director

     

    Qualifications


    • Board eligibility or certification in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
    • Active California Medical License
    • Completion of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship
    • Current and valid DEA Certificate
    • Successful completion of Seneca’s credentialing process
    • Proof of liability insurance
    • Fingerprint clearances
    • Own vehicle, valid California Drivers License and insurance
    • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

     

    Schedule


    • 8-16 hours per week, depending on location

     

    Benefits


    • Contracted position, compensation starting at $170 per hour
