  • Overview

    Seneca Wraparound programs offer family centered, individualized, and culturally relevant support to children and families by drawing upon community and family strengths. The goal of Wraparound is to support children and youth in the homes of caring families (biological, fictive kin, or foster families), rather than in group care settings.


    The Program Supervisor provides overall supervision of the Wraparound program, including case related issues, the quality and tracking of all mental health charting, supervising the teams and providing direct support to staff.  This position supervises nine direct staff and oversees approximately 30 Wraparound Family Teams. This position does not carry a regular caseload.


    • Knowledge and capability to fulfill all job duties of the Care Coordinator, Parent Partner, and Youth Partner positions.
    • Maintain accountability for all Seneca and OC Wraparound policies and procedures.
    • Work with the Director in the interviewing and hiring of direct care staff.
    • Provide initial and ongoing training and support to staff in regard to all areas of their job and responsibilities, including conducting regular performance evaluations.
    • Conduct weekly individual supervision of direct care staff which includes ongoing feedback and support regarding each staff member’s strengths as well as areas requiring improvement.
    • Review program documentation and ensure that the staff is submitting accurate and timely paperwork related to the services being provided to children and families.
    • Attend one Child and Family Team Meeting per Care Coordinator each month.
    • Co-facilitate staff meetings with the Director and Supervisors.
    • Informs Management team of emergencies or critical incidents involving clients and families and ensures that the necessary paperwork is submitted.
    • Work with the Management Team to coordinate ongoing staff trainings.
    • Complete Clinical Assessments of youth referred to Wraparound.


    • Master’s Degree in social service field required
    • Eligible to register with the California BBS, required
    • Experience working with children in out-of-home care preferred
    • Experience implementing family-focused wrap-around services preferred
    • Ability to work as part of and supervise a multidisciplinary team
    • Ability to work with a diverse population
    • Good organizational and writing skills
    • Own vehicle, valid California Driver’s License and insurability through Seneca’s automobile policy
    • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other licensing or certification requirements


    • Monday - Friday; flexible schedule with ability to work some evening and weekend hours as needed
    • Willing to respond to crisis situations and be part of a rotating emergency on-call system
