  • Overview

    Seneca Wraparound programs is to offer family centered, individualized, and culturally relevant support to children and families by drawing upon community and family strengths. The goal of Wraparound programs is to support children and youth in the homes of caring families (biological, fictive kin, or foster families), rather than in group care settings.

     

    The Program Supervisor provides overall supervision of the Wraparound program, including case related issues, the quality and tracking of all mental health charting, supervising the teams and providing direct support to staff.  This position supervises a maximum of nine direct staff and oversees up to 30 Wraparound Family Teams. This position does not carry a regular caseload.

    Responsibilities

    • Knowledge and capability to fulfill all job duties of the Care Coordinator, Parent Partner, and Youth Partner positions.
    • Maintain accountability for all Seneca and OC Wraparound policies and procedures.
    • Work with the Director in the interviewing and hiring of direct care staff.
    • Provide initial and ongoing training and support to staff in regard to all areas of their job and responsibilities.
    • Conduct weekly individual supervision of direct care staff and shall include ongoing feedback and support regarding each staff member’s strengths as well as areas requiring improvement.
    • Ensure that the staff is submitting accurate and timely paperwork related to the services being provided to children and families.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff assigned for supervision.
    • Attend one Family Team Meeting per Care Coordinator each month.
    • Review and approve Flex Fund expenditures.
    • Co-facilitate monthly meetings of Care Coordinators, Parent Partners and Youth Partners with the Director and Supervisors.
    • Informs Management team of emergencies or critical incidents involving clients and families and ensures that the necessary paperwork is submitted.
    • Work with the Management Team to coordinate ongoing staff trainings.

    Qualifications

    • Master’s Degree in social service field required
    • Eligible to register with the California BBS, preferred.
    • Experience working with children in out-of-home care preferred
    • Experience implementing family-focused wrap-around services preferred
    • Ability to work as part of and supervise a multidisciplinary team
    • Ability to work with a diverse population
    • Good organizational and writing skills
    • Own vehicle, valid California Driver’s License and insurability through Seneca’s automobile policy
    • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other licensing or certification requirements

    Schedule

    • Monday - Friday; flexible schedule with ability to work some evening and weekend hours as needed
    • Willing to respond to crisis situations and be part of a rotating emergency on-call system
