Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, the Nurse is responsible for implementing and evaluating the nursing care delivered within his/her shift, and for utilizing the nursing process to provide assessment, treatment planning, and evaluation of resident care within designated clinical areas. S/he is responsible for meeting all regulatory documentation standards. S/he participates in the multidisciplinary team, QA and UR activities. S/he acts as a clinical role model and provides nursing consultation to staff within the assigned areas of responsibility.
Willow Rock Center is an adolescent crisis stabilization and treatment facility. This program provides mental health interventions to divert adolescents from hospitalization when they may be safely discharged to the community. The Crisis Stabilization Unit staff and inpatient staff provide a safe and nurturing environment as they assist youth in regaining the stability necessary to safely return home or to a community-based placement.
