  • Overview

COMPASS is a Comprehensive Assessment and Stabilization Program that provides highly individualized, client and family driven treatment intended to stabilize the child, meet immediate needs such as mental, emotional, physical health and academic and social needs as well as provide for on-going care and sustainable transition back to family and or identified caregivers.

The Mental Health Counselor provides family-based mental health counseling, crisis intervention, collateral, and case management services to children and families.  The Mental Health Counselors are members of a treatment team and provide services at the program sites and in the community. This includes but is not limited to hospitals, school and family homes.  Mental Health Counselors will demonstrate communication skills through documentation of mental health notes and participation in meetings with outside providers, managers, clinicians, Professional Parents, client and families.

Seneca Family of Agencies is committed to providing traditionally marginalized communities a network of outstanding mental health, community based, and educational services. Celebrating diversity and creating a culture of inclusion increases creativity, innovation, problem solving, and teamwork. Seneca’s agency-wide DEI Advisory Board, Employee Resource Groups, and Language Practice Groups help our employees provide culturally and linguistically relevant services to the families we serve.
