The Guided Animal Intervention Therapy (GAIT) program is designed to help vulnerable children overcome the hurdles that affect their young lives, providing hope and healing leading them down the path of success by targeting specific problematic behaviors aimed at restoring, maintaining or teaching the client new skills that will help reduce the impairments. The Equine Mental Health Worker works directly with children/youth in the GAIT program, completes agency/county documentation, supports the oversight of the barn and GAIT facility operations, volunteer recruitment and training and equine care.
Seneca Family of Agencies is committed to providing traditionally marginalized communities a network of outstanding mental health, community based, and educational services.
