The Bilingual (Spanish/English) Family Partner must have personal experience raising a child who has received services. These services can include Special Education, Mental Health Services, Human Services such as CPS or Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice or Probation. As a Bilingual Family Partner, you have the ability to draw on your own relevant experiences to support families in overcoming the challenges they face.

The Bilingual Family Partner provides peer support to family members of youth receiving community-based services through Seneca called Wraparound Services and START (Short Term Assessment of Resources and Treatment). These services provide exceptionally integrated, coordinated service to youth who frequently utilize crisis services and may be involved in the child welfare and/or juvenile justice system.

Seneca Family of Agencies is committed to providing traditionally marginalized communities a network of outstanding mental health, community based, and educational services. Celebrating diversity and creating a culture of inclusion increases creativity, innovation, problem solving, and teamwork. Seneca’s agency-wide DEI Advisory Board, Employee Resource Groups, and Language Practice Groups help our employees provide culturally and linguistically relevant services to the families we serve.
