The Youth Stabilization Specialist plays a critical role in supporting youth to achieve and maintain stability as they prepare for a successful transition into a home-like environment. The Youth Stabilization Specialist builds relationships quickly and partners with each youth to develop and implement highly individualized treatment plans. Youth Stabilization Specialists use behavioral interventions and supports and engage youth in a variety of daily activities while focusing on mental health treatment goals. The Program Supervisoris responsible for all functions related to the STEP Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) at their assigned location. The Program Supervisor oversees clinical fidelity and quality of care, team development and training, day-to-day operations and safety, and supervision of all program staff. The STEP (Skills, Transitions, Exploration, and Progress) program is a partnership between Kaiser Permanente and Seneca, providing Partial Hospitalization services to youth ages 12-17. The goal of the STEP program is to provide intensive, short-term and stabilization services to enable our clients to step down to lower levels of outpatient mental health treatment. This 10-day intensive treatment program enables youth to step down to lower levels of care by providing family and group therapy, risk assessment and safety planning, and emotional support and coping skills. All groups are designed to teach youth the skills necessary to help them learn about their mental health, provide psychoeducation, and help them learn skills to feel better and be safe.

TWC is a therapeutic, home-like setting that supports young people as they navigate the trauma of placement disruption. The Welcoming Center is specifically designed to minimize the impact of this trauma by providing safety, care, comfort, and therapeutic supports while the best and most appropriate placement is coordinated. The Welcoming Center serves young people in Santa Clara County who are removed from their home, returning from elopement, or otherwise experiencing a loss of placement. When they arrive at The Welcoming Center, they are met by empathetic and well-trained adults that provide a calm, stable environment while their individualized needs are assessed and placement is secured.
ISS provides prevention and stabilization-oriented services designed to support young people and their Resource Families in times of crisis and high need to reduce the likelihood of placement disruption and preserve their placement. ISS staff are available up to 24 hours a day to provide phone-based assessment, in-person stabilization, and short-term intensive services designed to improve youth safety and well-being. ISS services are also utilized to facilitate successful transition into new placements for youth as they leave the Welcoming Center. In this way, the ISS team can be a stabilizing and consistent support team for young people as they experience a change in placement.

As a Crisis Social Worker, you will provide crisis and connective services to youth and families who are experiencing significant psychological, emotional, and behavioral problems that are interfering with their well-being in spaces including but not limited to client homes, hospitals, community spaces, etc. You will coordinate and implement treatment goals and servicedelivery for assigned clients up to 8 weeks at a time, meeting with clients and caregivers on a regular basis. The Mobile Response Team (MRT) is a short-term program which supports youth and their families in crisis when there are concerns for immediate safety.The MRT service is intended to offer families, schools, and providers an alternative to calling 911 when law enforcement may not be necessary for the level of presenting concerns. The goal is to provide early intervention before crises escalate, to divert youth from more restrictive interventions, and reduce criminalization of mental health for youth.
The Short-Term Assessment of Resources and Treatment (START) Program provides stabilization services following a crisis involving a youth within the Pierce County community. The primary goals of the START Program are suicide prevention and safety planning, ongoing crisis management and development of coping skills for youth and their families along with collaboration with other treatment team providers serving the youth. The goal is to provide crisis stabilization and linkage to long-term services while providing same day crisis services in the home or community.

As a Health Information Specialist, you will work with clinicians, counselors, and program leaders ensure program compliance, support payment processes, and to track and update clinical charts for youth and families enrolled in our various programs. This role is a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with the behind-the-scenes operations that make a nonprofit successful. You will use your analytical skills to prioritize projects, manage billing logistics, and communicate with your team who is equally passionate about helping children and families through the most difficult times of their lives.

The Community-Based, Bilingual Wraparound Therapist is responsible for the ongoing provision of culturally responsive mental health services to youth and their families, including individual and family therapy and child and participation in family team meetings. It is their responsibility to strive to provide the best possible individualized treatment for the youth and families. Services will be provided in the office, telehealth and community: in the families’ homes, foster homes, schools, parks,etc. They are also responsible for documentation to comply with agency-wide requirements, CalAIM standards, as well as the requirements of the counties with whom we work.

Seneca offers "Wraparound" services to children and youth susceptible of placement, and to their families. The Wraparound programs are strengths-based, family-driven, flexible, and creative, with the goal of helping the family develop the skills and supports to prevent or reduce the possibility of out-of-home placement of their child. A family-based team addresses the needs of the entire family, not just the child of focus. This family-based team consists of family members, Seneca's Therapists, Support Counselors, Family Partners, Facilitators and other community members who have an important role in the family.

We are looking for a Foster Care Therapist who will provide therapeutic services, including counseling, case management, permanency planning, and crisis intervention, to youth and young adults ages 6 - 21 years of age. As the Therapist you will have the opportunity to collaborate with youth and their family treatment teams to identify and work toward overall wellness goals, such as increasing independent skills, increasing adaptive coping skills, expanding their support network, accessing community resources, and pursuing employment and educational opportunities.

Seneca serves Solano County children/youth by offering a focus on managing mental and behavioral health needs and increasing placement stabilization. The Katie A. Services program provides culturally-competent, team-driven, and strength-based unconditional care for children and families who struggle with profound needs and difficulties. KAS services dually focus on therapy and the child and family team meeting process that focuses on building a strong team to collaboratively address the needs of the child and family. Services are provided at the program site and in the community, including schools, and family homes.

The Bilingual Family Connections Specialist on the team plays a vital role in addressing permanency and connectedness for youth and families within Marin County's Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice systems. You will collaborate with social workers and probation officers, guide families through the six stages of Family Finding, and offer support groups and case management for parents navigating the foster and adoption process.
