Overview

Join our team as a Clinical Supervisor and play a pivotal role in guiding master’s level staff through individual and group supervision, empowering them in clinical case management and treatment services. As a Clinical Supervisor, you'll meticulously review and greenlight clinical documentation while actively contributing to crafting tailored treatment goals and interventions for our clients. Foster strong partnerships with county collaborators and external service providers to ensure seamless support and comprehensive care within our program.

This position required candidates to be Licensed as MFT or LCSW.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Seneca Santa Clara Outpatient Program provides community-based, family-centered, strengths-based and outcome-oriented therapeutic services to children, youth and their families in Santa Clara County. We strive to engage clients in meaningful and authentic relationships while providing a safe, predictable and relentlessly positive environment that aligns with our clients’ values and cultures. The target population is children and youth ages 6 to 21 residing in Santa Clara County who have full scope Medi-Cal. The children and youth served by the program struggle to function in their relationships and environments due to a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses.

Responsibilities

  • Meet individually with each clinician and intern weekly to provide clinical consultation, oversight and training 
  • Utilize a cultural lens 
  • Ensure that adequate supervision around improvement of job performance is provided in a supportive, constructive manner 
  • Ensure supervisees are meeting the performance expectations and standards of their position 
  • Provide leadership for staff in creating a positive work environment that adheres to the values of the agency 
  • Ensure that the program is run in a safe, therapeutic and efficient manner 
  • Partner with the director and program assistant to ensure that the staff’s training needs are addressed 
  • Maintain an active presence in the to develop and maintain an accurate assessment of programmatic needs 
  • Through example and consultation, guide staff to develop creative interventions for youth, which promote Seneca’s mission of unconditional care 
  • Positively and professionally represent Seneca Center as primary liaison between Family of Agencies and individuals and outside agencies 
  • Responsible for treatment planning including all of the following: assisting with chart review, ensure psychiatric and other consultation is used appropriately, ensure that treatment plans are reviewed in a timely and appropriate manner, ensure that families are engaged in the treatment program of their child

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s degree in Social Services/Social Work/Psychology/Counseling
    • Licensed as MFT or LCSW required
  • 2 years post license required
  • Four years experience working with children/youth and families with complex and enduring needs preferred Experience implementing family-focused wraparound services preferred
  • Own vehicle, valid California Drivers License and insurance.
  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
  • Proof of Covid-19 fully vaccinated and boosted
  • Preferred in-depth knowledge of Wraparound principles and practices
  • 1 year of management skills preferred

  • Understands own social and cultural location, the systems of oppression within which we operate, and the impact those have on the clients and communities we serve
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Experience working with or living in community with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
  • A commitment to advancing racial equity at the organizational level.

Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Monday to Friday
    • Schedule options:
    • 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Or 10:00 am - 6:00pm
  • Hybrid position: Minimum of two days a week in-person
  • Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as needed

Benefits

  • Starting salary $109,885 to $123,885 per year.
    • Actual salary is dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role.
    • Additional compensation provided upon passing bilingual language proficiency exam
    • Additional $4000 salary increase for BBS licensure
    • $2000 sign-on bonus for new employees
