At Seneca, we seek a compassionate and thoughtful professional to work directly helping caregivers and families reach their goals, as aWraparound with Intensive Services (WISe) Family Partner. 

Now $500 sign-on Bonus

 

As a Family Partner, you will provide peer support to family members of clients receiving Wraparound with Intensive Services (WISe) services. The Family Partner is responsible for coordinating parent support activities and resources. The Family Partner works individually with family members to engage them in the process, increase their involvement, and assist them in achieving their care plan goals. The Family Partner will perform a wide range of activities in order to function as a member of the supporting team as well as provide individual support to the parents.

The Wraparound with Intensive Services (WISe) program provides comprehensive behavior health supports to youth with complex behavioral and mental health needs. The program's goal is to help youth thrive in their homes and communities and assist in helping them meet the goals they have identified.

Responsibilities

  • Provide non-judgmental, unconditional support to children and families participating in the WISe
  • Act as a member of the Child and Family Team (CFT), designated as the individual support person to the parent or identified family member
  • Assist with coordinating and providing transportation for school, therapy, court hearings, or other pertinent treatment appointments/activities
  • Work in coordination with primary caregiver, Care Coordinators, Clinicians, Youth Partners, and other supports identified by the client participate in all functions of the CFT, including: planning meetings, assisting in designing treatment plans, assist in writing quarterly reports, and other casework duties as neede
  • Submit incident reports other necessary documentation in a timely and complete manner
  • Participate in supervision with the Family Partner Supervisor
  • Maintain accurate documentation and paperwork including, but not limited to, mental health notes, time sheets, petty cash, and mileage in a timely manner
  • Commit to and engage in self-evaluation as well as organizational goals, strategies, and systemic practices regarding diversity, equity and inclusion

Qualifications

  • Lived experience parenting a child who has received mental or behavioral health treatment; OR involvement with cross system (Juvenile Justice; Mental and/or Behavioral Health treatment; Special Education; Substance Use Disorder Treatment) involvement; Required 
  • Interest in working with youth and families
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Ability to work as a team player and with a diverse population
  • Strong writing and organizational skills
  • Clearance of TB test, fingerprints, and any other state or federal requirements
  • Own vehicle; Valid Washington Drivers License and insurability by Seneca's automobile insurance carrier
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • 10:00 am- 6:30 pm
  • Must maintain a flexible schedule, which includes evenings and occasional weekend work as needed
  • Must be comfortable driving and transporting clients and families as needed  

Benefits

  • Starting at $21.63- $24.13 per hour, actual salary is dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role
