Overview

Are you a committed mental health provider with experience working with migrantrefugee, or asylum-seeking families? Join our Todo por Mi Familia (TPMF) Program as an Outreach Coordinator!

The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the outreach to and engagement of families impacted by the Zero Tolerance Policy, including those who remain separated and those that have already been reunified. Outreach Coordinators work in collaboration with community organizations, including immigration attorneys, to establish contact with families and then partner with TPMF case managers and supervisors to connect interested families to services. The Outreach Coordinator serves as the initial advocate and liaison between the family and TPMF case managers, providers, and other community partners. A successful Outreach Coordinator communicates with great clarity and must be able to balance confidence and vulnerability, work as part of a team and independently, manage highly confidential information, and be driven by passion and compassion.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Seneca’s Todo Por Mi Familia (TPMF) program was established to address the profound trauma experienced by migrant/asylum seeking parents and children who were unwillingly separated from each other at the US-Mexico border under the Zero Tolerance Policy. Pursuant to a federal contract and class action lawsuit, TPMF offers the following services to eligible families: (1) pre-reunification counseling to still-separated families awaiting reunification; (2) parenting and psychosocial supports to reunified families in the United States; (3) referrals to behavioral health treatment to still separated children and reunified families in the United States; and (4) related case management services. TPMF is built upon Seneca’s years of experience providing Unconditional Care® to effectively respond to the impact of complex trauma on children and families. All services provided by TPMF are trauma-informed and culturally appropriate and offered in the families’ preferred language, with the goal of helping families heal and rebuild.
