Are you passionate about delivering therapy to help students overcome challenges and thrive in their learning environment? Seneca’s School Partnership Program is hiring for a Classroom Therapist to guide grades 3rd to 12th to success in Hayward, CA. As a Classroom Therapist you will provide healing-centered therapeutic and case-management services, including conducting mental health assessments and implementing individual behavioral plans. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school leadership to ensure the success of youth and families in a district school setting.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Seneca’s Unconditional Education Heart Program partners with Hayward Unified School District to support students and families through theri most difficult times. The HEART program currently has 7 counseling enriched classrooms on 7 Hayward School District campuses. Each classroom is staffed by a teacher, a Seneca therapist, and 1-3 Seneca Mental Health Counselors. The Program offers individual, family and group therapies, alongside behavioral systems that emphasize positive reinforcement and incentives. The HEART program promotes a strength-based system focused on relational, behavioral and ecological treatment.
