ABOUT THE ROLE
Seneca is looking for a Bilingual School-Based Therapist to support a caseload of students and families with therapy, case management, and consultation services for grades 6-8 at United for Success in Oakland Unified School District. As a Bilingual School-Based Therapist, you’ll provide outstanding therapeutic and case-management services, including conducting mental health assessments and implementing individual behavioral plans. You’ll also have the opportunity to collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school leadership to ensure the success of youth and families in a district school setting.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Seneca’s Unconditional Education Rooted to Rise Program partners with Oakland Unified School District to provide therapeutic and behavioral intervention services for children and families in critical need of support, resources and care. This Medi-Cal funded program provides individual, family and group therapy as well as push-in behavioral intervention and social skills development during the school day to students that qualify through their insurance. Our team is integrated into the school community in order to collaborate with school partners and seamlessly provide the necessary interventions and services needed for students to thrive.
