Seneca's Ventura County Crisis Services program offers a spectrum of behavioral health care crisis services to support youth and their families. These services provide safe refuge for young people who have experienced profound mental health needs including psychiatric evaluation or hospitalization. Services include crisis stabilization and short-term acute residential treatment, as well as transition and planning services to return youth to a setting in the community with stability.
The Awake Overnight Crisis Counselor provides crisis support for youth entering the 23-hour Assessment Center. Counselors will provide a safe and nurturing environment for youth that come into the program, and will intervene as necessary to assist the youth in stabilizing. Support counselors will also assist the Assessment Clinician with case management duties as appropriate.

The focus of Seneca Wraparound programs is to offer family-centered, individualized, culturally relevant, and strength based support to families with complex and enduring needs. The Wraparound team builds consensus and leverages the strengths of its members to identify and meet needs that require intervention to support the child/youth and family in reaching their long-term goals.
The Wraparound Supervisor provides supervision to Facilitators and Support Counselors in the Santa Clara County Connections program. The Wraparound Supervisor works in partnership with the Clinical Supervisor as a team leader by overseeing the quality and tracking of all mental health charting, supervising staff, and providing direct support to staff in the field.

Seneca's Mobile Response Team supports families in serious distress with immediate crisis intervention and mental health services. The Health Information Specialist maintains client charts with a focus on the quality assurance of the program. The Southern California Grant Officer is a project leader to create innovative programs to serve youth and families. This position collaborates with the Seneca’s executive leadership teams from Southern California and Advancement to influence regional organizational growth and change by researching funding opportunities and developing proposals. The Grant Officer directly supports the development and sustainability of Seneca’s Southern California programs.

The TAY (Transition Age Youth) Peer Intern engages youth and young adults ages 16-25 in the Solano County TAY Services Program. The Peer Intern provides hope, one-on-one support, and mentorship to participants by sharing their own experience with recovery/resilience and expertise in navigating systems and programs such as STRTP, Wraparound services, Educational Systems, Juvenile Justice Systems, and Child Welfare Systems. The Peer Intern works collaboratively with other program staff to provide the best care and advocacy possible.

Santa Clara County Katie A. Services support youth and young adults ages 6-21 years of age and aims to address mental health symptoms that are impacting the youth's ability to successfully meet their life goals. Services build on the values and strengths of each youth and family, and are tailored to meet their unique and changing needs. Our approach to services is youth driven. Each client identifies the focus of their treatment, as well as the people they want on their family treatment team, which may include supportive family, friends, or community members.
The Foster Youth Counselor provides family-centered services including assessment, care planning, care coordination, case management, mentoring, counseling, parent coaching, and individual rehabilitation for children, youth and families enrolled in services. Foster Youth Counselors provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive services in the community at times and locations convenient to the family.

Seneca operates a wide variety of programs, including school-based programs, community-based programs, and crisis services and is looking for qualified child psychiatrists eager to work within multi-disciplinary teams in collaborative, innovative settings which are client and family-focused. Physicians also enjoy being part of a growing and supportive department of physicians, nurse practitioners and nurses.
As a Joint Commission accredited behavioral health organization, all consulting psychiatrists must undergo a credentialing process, and so early applications are encouraged even for future openings. Applications will be accepted until positions are filled. We are continuing to expand!

The Parent Partner draws on their own relevant experiences to support families in overcoming the challenges they face. The Parent Partner must have personal experience raising a child who has received services. These services can include Special Education, Mental Health Services, Human Services such as CPS or Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice or Probation.
The Parent Partner works as part of a treatment team and primarily provides support to a child’s caregivers or significant supports. The Parent Partner is responsible for connecting the family to community resources, reinforcing caregiver’s participation in supportive activities, and supporting the caregiver’s participation in treatment to promote achievement of family and student goals. The Parent Partner often works closely with the student’s school in order to help link the caregiver to school contacts and resources to increase academic success. The Parent Partner performs a wide range of activities, both individually and as part of the team, to facilitate positive changes in the family system.

The Bilingual Clinical Intervention Specialist provides school-based therapeutic, case management and consultation services for a caseload of children and families. Working within partnering schools, the Clinical Intervention Specialist coordinates services delivered at the school site and supports faculty and staff in including students successfully in diverse settings by providing teacher coaching, modeling and professional development opportunities. The Clinical Intervention Specialist works collaboratively with classroom teachers, school leadership and the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) implementation team to maintain the academic, social and emotional needs of each student.
Seneca supports clinicians towards licensure and beyond. We provide individual and group supervision, regular clinical case conferences, and licensure and renewal courses led by field experts. Expenses such as outside trainings or licensure fees can be mitigated though your clinical training stipend, and you will receive a $4000 salary increase upon getting licensed. The Bilingual Wraparound Facilitator is a great growth opportunity for social work professionals! Therapists are a part of a multi-disciplinary team of clinical professionals providing mental health services to chlidren who are Orange County Medi-Cal clients. The Family Partner must have personal experience raising a child who has received services. The Family Partner is responsible for coordinating parent support activities and resources, and draws on their own relevant experiences to support families in overcoming the challenges they face. The Family Partner works individually with family members to engage them in the process, increase their involvement, and assist them in maintaining stabilization. The Family Partner will function as a member of the Seneca support team as well as provide individual support to the caregivers. The Family Partner will also assist the Crisis Clinician with crisis support and case management duties as appropriate.

The Residential Counselor provides crisis support, structure, mentoring, and coaching to youth while providing a safe and nurturing environment. Residential Counselors will work in collaboration with the treatment team to assist the youth in stabilizing and will perform case management duties as needed. The Residential Counselor can adapt to the changing locations of the youth which may include residential settings, homes, community-based programs and school settings. Residential Counselors may also provide support across multiple programs as determined by the needs of the clients and overall program census.
