The Intensive Services Foster Care Program (ISFC) Bilingual (Spanish/English) Clinician is responsible for both the clinical treatment and case management of up to eight children placed in treatment foster homes. Seneca’s ISFC program serves children aged 6-18 who have emotional and behavioral challenges due to histories of trauma, neglect and abuse. In this home-based, therapeutic approach, Seneca foster parents are valued team members who receive weekly support and guidance from Seneca clinicians and counselors. With a focus on the strengths and value of each child, the team helps foster youth to recover and flourish as they learn coping skills and improve their ability to regulate feelings and behaviors.
Seneca supports clinicians towards licensure and beyond. We provide individual and group supervision, regular clinical case conferences, and licensure and renewal courses led by field experts. Expenses such as outside trainings or licensure fees can be mitigated though your clinical training stipend, and you will receive a $4000 salary increase upon getting licensed. Kinship Center, a member of the Seneca Family of Agencies, is seeking a Mental Health Clinician. Clinicians are a part of a multi-disciplinary team of clinical professionals providing mental health services children and their caregivers. Specialty populations include foster and adopted children, and those being raised by relatives. A Bilingual (Spanish/English) TBS Clinician in the Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) program provides short-term and intensive behaviorally-focused services for youth ages 3-21 who are engaging in behaviors that place them at risk of a higher level of care. Through time-limited, one-to-one behavioral interventions, TBS provides the child with skills to effectively manage the behaviors that are jeopardizing his/her placement in the lowest appropriate level of care.
TBS sessions are scheduled in accordance with the child and family's needs, with interventions developed based on the family's specific skills, values, and strengths to promote sustainable change. As the youth reaches the initial TBS behavioral goal, a transition plan is set in place to ensure sustainability of the treatment progress, and a graduation celebration is organized to acknowledge the achievements of the youth and family.

Seneca's Willow Rock Center is the front-end of a crisis stabilization continuum of care, and is designed to provide the immediate intervention services necessary to divert adolescents from hospitalization. Our team provides a safe and nurturing environment for youth as they assist the youth in regaining the stability necessary to return home or to a community-based placement.
The Crisis Counselor provides crisis support for youth entering the 23-hour Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). Crisis Counselors will provide a safe and nurturing environment for youth that come into the program, and will intervene as necessary to assist the youth in stabilizing. The Health Information Specialist maintains client files and is responsible for submitting the mental health billing for all clients within their assigned program. Health Information Specialists compile, update, and organize all documentation for the clients within their program, in collaboration with clinicians and counselors. This is an administrative role that requires a high level of analytical, computer, and communication skills.

The Bilingual (Spanish/English) Family Partner must have personal experience raising a child who has received services. These services can include Special Education, Mental Health Services, Human Services such as CPS or Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice or Probation. As a Bilingual Family Partner, you have the ability to draw on your own relevant experiences to support families in overcoming the challenges they face.
The Bilingual Family Partner provides peer support to family members of youth receiving community-based services through Seneca called Wraparound Services and START (Short Term Assessment of Resources and Treatment). These services provide exceptionally integrated, coordinated service to youth who frequently utilize crisis services and may be involved in the child welfare and/or juvenile justice system.

The Speech and Language Pathologist works as a member of multi-disciplinary assessment and treatment team in an effort to meet the varied needs of public school students. The SLP functions as the direct service provider in the implementation of services to students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or students receiving Response to Intervention (RtI) prevention and early intervention services. The Speech and Language Pathologist also acts in a consulting capacity to teachers and school staff around the delivery of an enriched language program to all students, with special attention given to the needs of English Language Learners.

The role of the Behavioral Intervention Specialist is to help design, implement and monitor behavioral plans for students that are based on thorough assessments and follow ABA and PENT best practices in order to remain compliant with special education law. Additionally, the Specialist coordinates services at the school sites and provides coaching, modeling and development opportunities to school staff within Seattle Public Schools. This position supports our partner school Bailey Gatzert Elementary in Central Seattle.

A Bilingual Behavioral Coach in the Sonoma Behavioral Health Program provides behaviorally focused mental health services to children and families. These services, which are child and family focused and strength based, are provided in the community, including, but not limited to, schools, hospitals, and family homes.

The Wraparound with Intensive Services (WISe) program provides comprehensive behavior health supports to youth with complex behavioral and mental health needs. The goal of the program is to help youth thrive in their homes and communities, and assist in helping them meet the goals they have identified. The Parent Partner provides peer support to family members of clients receiving wraparound services. The Parent Partner is responsible for coordinating parent support activities and resources. The Parent Partner works individually with family members to engage them in the process, increase their involvement, and assist them in achieving their care plan goals. The Parent Partner utilizes their own experiences as the parent/caregiver of a youth who has experienced significant emotional or behavioral issues, and involvement in one or more child serving systems, to deliver informed supportive services to parents/caregivers of a youth referred to or receiving wraparound services.

The Resource and Advocacy Support Services (RASS) program provides support to ensure Resource Families have access to needed resources in order to stabilize and maintain children in their foster care placements. Specifically, this program serves newly approved Santa Clara County (SCC) Resource Families and current SCC Resource Families with foster youth placed in their home. The Program Manager oversees all aspects of the program including administrative functions and service provision ensuring families receive high quality, effective services. The Program Manager collaborates closely with SCC Social Services Agency to ensure the program is effectively addressing the needs of the Resource Families.

Santa Clara County Katie A. Services aim to address mental health symptoms that are impacting the youth’s ability to successfully meet their life goals. In addition to symptom management and reduction, clinicians collaborate with youth and their family treatment teams to identify and work toward overall wellness goals, such as increasing independent skills, increasing adaptive coping skills, expanding their support network, accessing community resources, and pursuing employment and educational opportunities.
The Clinical Supervisor provides individual and group supervision for master’s level staff in relation to their clinical treatment service delivery. The Clinical Supervisor reviews and approves clinical documentation and assists in the development of appropriate clinical treatment goals and interventions for the clients in the program. The Clinical Supervisor works to maintain close collaborative relationships with county agency partners and outside service providers as appropriate.
