Looking for a job that supports children and families in need? Join our team at Seneca Family of Agencies in our San Luis Obispo County Wraparound Program as a Support Counselor. The Support Counselor serves children and families by providing behaviorally focused mental health services. Counselors work with youth in their environments: assisting birth/foster parents with care and supervision, maintaining a close and supportive relationship with the child’s educational placement, planning activities that encourage social development, and supporting the youth in getting access to community resources. The Support Counselor is a member of a treatment team that seeks to provide families with strengths-based, family-focused support.   About Wraparound Our Kinship Center offers intensive “Wraparound” services to children and youth at risk of placement in a high-level group home, and to their families. As a Classroom Counselor, you’ll support students' mental health needs, provide therapeutic interventions, and foster curiosity in the classroom.
