Bridges Services is looking for a Classroom Counselor in Seneca's Non-Public Schools, who will work on a multi-disciplinary team to provide behaviorally focused mental health services to children and families receiving Special Education support through their local school district. As a Classroom Counselor, you will provide mental health counseling, coaching, crisis intervention, and academic support services to children and families. Classroom Counselors at Bridges are members of a treatment team, and provide 1:1, individualized services to students who need additional support to reach academic goals. Services may be provided, in the classroom, a quiet individual workspace, or community as appropriate for the student. When not assigned a 1:1 student, Bridges Classroom Counselors will work as Counselors at other Seneca NPS sites. You’ll also have access to embedded MSW and Education Specialist credential programs under substantial Seneca scholarship!

Seneca’s school partnerships program is hiring a Classroom Counselor to guide students to success at our Constellation school programs. As a Classroom Counselor, you’ll support students' mental health needs, provide therapeutic interventions, and foster curiosity in an innovative classroom setting. Our Classroom Counselors also collaborate with a creative team of special education teachers, school therapists, and education leaders to foster classrooms that celebrate diversity and weave the community's cultures into a curriculum that addresses each student's individual needs. You’ll also have the opportunity to enroll in an embedded MSW, MFT, or Special Education credential program under a substantial Seneca scholarship!
Seneca’s Unconditional Education Constellation Program partners with Walters Middle School (Fremont), Grant Elementary School (San Lorenzo), and Creekside Middle School (Castro Valley) to implement services that identify and intervene on behalf of the community’s most vulnerable children. Through Seneca’s partnership with Reach’sOxford Teachers College Program, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work as a classroom counselor at one of our Alameda or Contra Costa partnership schools while earning credit towards your Reach University bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies for Teachers.
