Seneca’s school partnerships program is hiring a Classroom Counselor to guide students to success at our Constellation school programs. As a Classroom Counselor, you’ll support students' mental health needs, provide therapeutic interventions, and foster curiosity in an innovative classroom setting. Our Classroom Counselors also collaborate with a creative team of special education teachers, school therapists, and education leaders to foster classrooms that celebrate diversity and weave the community's cultures into a curriculum that addresses each student's individual needs. You’ll also have the opportunity to enroll in an embedded MSW, MFT, or Special Education credential program under a substantial Seneca scholarship!    Seneca’s Unconditional Education Constellation Program partners with Walters Middle School (Fremont), Grant Elementary School (San Lorenzo), and Creekside Middle School (Castro Valley) to implement services that identify and intervene on behalf of the community’s most vulnerable children. Join our team at Maya Angelou Academy, where we seek dedicated individuals committed to continuous learning and personal growth. As a Classroom Counselor, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting students with diverse needs, fostering an inclusive and nurturing educational environment.   Join Seneca's Maya Angelou Academy in Oakland, CA as a Classroom Counselor for K-5 students. Collaborate with special education teachers and school therapists to meet students' therapeutic, behavioral, and academic needs. If so, Seneca’s Earn & Learn Classroom Counselor role is designed for you.  Reach University is a nonprofit university preparing the next generation of leaders to champion equity in marginalized communities. Through its job-embedded learning model, Reach enables its students to gain professional experience while earning a bachelor’s degree for under $75/month.   Through Seneca’s partnership with Reach’sOxford Teachers College Program, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work as a classroom counselor at one of our Alameda or Contra Costa partnership schools while earning credit towards your Reach University bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies for Teachers.  Seneca’s Classroom Counselors are key members of our school teams, guiding students to achieve academic success no matter what challenges they may be facing. Our Classroom Counselors help the school team employ creative and thoughtful community-tested practices to celebrate the diversity of our students and weave our families’ cultures into a curriculum that addresses each child’s needs.
