ISFC provides therapeutic home settings with Resource Parents as an alternative to residential placement with the goal of supporting ultimate transition to permanency through behavioral supports, therapy, crisis interventions, and rehabilitation services. Youth referred are typically not able to maintain placement in a standard foster home or are stepping down from residential placement. Are you a counselor that's thoughtful and creative with your interventions and build quick rapport with youth? Join Seneca's stellar multi-disciplinary team.   As the Awake Overnight Youth Counselor on the team, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for youth and will intervene as necessary to assist the youth in developing skills for growth and maintaining stabilization. The Awake Overnight Youth Counselor will have the opportunity to provide crisis support, facilitate daily groups and individual sessions, and collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team in daily clinical treatment planning for youth.   ABOUT VENTURA COUNTY CRISIS SERVICES Seneca's Ventura County Crisis Services program offers a spectrum of behavioral health care crisis services to support youth and their families. These services provide safe refuge for young people who have experienced profound mental health needs including psychiatric evaluation or hospitalization.
