These crisis intervention services are provided in homes, schools, and various community locations. The program aims to provide children and their families with the support and services they need for children to maintain the lowest level of care possible and avoid out of home placements (group homes, juvenile hall, and hospitalization). Are you a counselor that's thoughtful and creative with your interventions and build quick rapport with youth? Join Seneca's stellar multi-disciplinary team.   As the Youth Counselor on the team, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for youth and will intervene as necessary to assist the youth in developing skills for growth and maintaining stabilization. The Youth Counselor will have the opportunity to provide crisis support, facilitate daily groups and individual sessions, and collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team in daily clinical treatment planning for youth.   ABOUT VENTURA COUNTY CRISIS SERVICES Seneca's Ventura County Crisis Services program offers a spectrum of behavioral health care crisis services to support youth and their families. These services provide safe refuge for young people who have experienced profound mental health needs including psychiatric evaluation or hospitalization.
