The Wraparound Social Worker will act in close partnership and a liaison with Department of Social Services-Child Welfare Services, Juvenile Probation, Behavioral Health, and other service providers providing strengths-based and outcome-oriented alternatives to out of home placements for the youth. Our Social Worker is part of a multidisciplinary team to support the youth in meeting all treatment goals to ensure permanency and stabilization in current placement while increasing lifetime connections with others in the community and family. The Visitation Counselor  is responsible for providing supervision of visits between children and parents who are referred by the Department of Children and Family Services and are working toward reunification. The visits will take place at a visitation center. Supervision involves oversight of the interactions between parents and children, transportation to and from visits, and documentation of visits. Visitation Counselors observe family interactions and provide role modeling, coaching, and verbal communication to ensure a safe and successful visit. The program is designed to provide opportunities for parents to build parental capacity, strengthen family relationships, and increase successful reunification and permanency outcomes.   ABOUT FIRST STOP VISITATION CENTER The First Stop Visitation Center provides services to children and parents who are referred by San Francisco Department of Family and Children’s Services who are working toward reunification. The Foster Youth Social Worker is responsible for both the clinical treatment and case management of four to six youth placed in intensive Resource Family Approved (RFA) homes, or a combination of these youth and lower needs youth placed in foster or adoptive homes. The Social Worker will support the caregiver in many capacities including providing psycho-education and coaching, foster care compliance and managing sustainability. The Social Worker will support resource parents in meeting all expectations to gain and maintain Resource Family (RF) approval as well as meeting the needs of the youth. Do you want to help support our foster youth? Join our team at Seneca Family of Agencies as our Intensive Services Foster (ISFC) Clinician and help support our youth navigate foster family placements to promote stability, secruity, and permanency.   The Foster Youth Social Worker (ISFC Clinician) is responsible for both the clinical treatment and case management of up to eight children placed in Seneca foster family agency programs. Seneca’s ISFC program serves children aged 6-18 who have emotional and behavioral challenges due to histories of trauma, neglect and abuse. In this home-based, therapeutic approach, Seneca foster parents are valued team members who receive weekly support and guidance from Seneca clinicians and counselors. With a focus on the strengths and value of each child, the team helps foster youth to recover and flourish as they learn coping skills and improve their ability to regulate feelings and behaviors.    ABOUT INTENSIVE SERVICES FOSTER CARE (ISFC)  ISFC is Seneca Center's primary foster care program. ISFC provides therapeutic home settings with Resource Parents as an alternative to residential placement with the goal of supporting ultimate transition to permanency through behavioural supports, therapy, crisis interventions, and rehabilitation services. Youth referred are typically not able to maintain placement in a standard foster home or are stepping down from residential placement. The Family Support Counselor will work with clients in both the Wraparound and Placement programs:   As part of the Wraparound services: The Bilingual Family Support Counselor works with a team comprised of Facilitators, Clinicians, and Family Partners to coordinate services and plans for youth and families who are referred for Wraparound through social services, probation, post-adoption services or the San Jose Unified School District.
